This finely embroidered, silk screen-printed cushion depicts the animals of Noah\'s Ark as they prepare to board the ark, two by two. The parade includes a pair of lions, turtles, flamingos, hedgehogs and ladybirds, with a dove flying high above them as they prepare to embark on their journey.

This new design, part of our popular Noah\'s Ark collection, gives stitchers the opportunity to employ a range of stitch techniques, including chain, fly and stem stitches, as well as the French knots that make up the turtles\' shells. We\'re particularly fond of the lion\'s luscious mane and the tip of his tail, which use a rya (\'Turkey rug\') stitch to create a tactile melange of golden threads.
